Hello!

My name is Daisy Marshall! I have worked in the wedding industry doing weddings and events for the last five years. Weddings are my passion and I love every second of the planning process. I was born and raised in eastern North Carolina and I am a North Carolina State University Alumna. I enjoy traveling, art, trying new restaurants, and meeting new people! I am passionate, driven, and I love to have a good time. Planning is hard work, so let yourself enjoy the day and let me hold the clipboard!

Why do you need an event planner?

I think that the word “need” is really strong! Many people are hesitant because it is very possible to plan your own wedding! While it can be an enjoyable experience, for many it is time consuming and a bit stressful. With it being your first time pricing a venue, a DJ, a florist, a caterer, a photographer, a make up artist.. etc. it is your wedding planner’s millionth time! Working with a planner means you have someone in the industry that can be your go to for prices. Don’t let people run all over you! Most planners, like myself, are also very into DIY projects, and are also multi-talented for things like florals and calligraphy. This means you save money!

That feeling you may experience at a perfect event when everything went right? The wedding planner is the one with the double sided tape, extra lipstick, and that tea your mother in law prefers! I always say that whoever coordinates a wedding is the one who will miss it. Why not have your cake and eat it too? Many little things can go missed or pushed aside. The idea is that you only get married once, so why not hire a planner and save a TON of time, stress, and money on your special day?
